Purple Door Sound is a professional sound studio located in Sertã, Portugal. Originally founded in 2020 in Portland, Oregon, USA, we moved to Portugal in 2024 and kept our tradition of helping artists record their music in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. In both the USA and Portugal we love to help artists record their rock, jazz, folk, and traditional music, and voice-overs and speech. Over many years we have curated an extensive collection of pre-amplifiers, compressor, EQs, and other equipment to record vintage and modern sounds. We also have an extensive capability to edit and clean older music and voice over (speech) recordings.
Our studio in Sertã, combined with our mobile recording and live sound capability supporting Central Portugal, has opened the door for local and visiting artists to record their music and voice overs.
